No Objection Certificate for Commercial Licenses

Through this service, business owners may request a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to issue, renew, modify or cancel commercial licences for businesses related to transportation within land transport, aviation and maritime.

Process description

Please follow the steps below to receive the NOC:

  1. Visit one of the Department of Transport's Customer Care Centres.
  2. Fill the application form and submit the required documents and submit the required documents.
  3. Sign a statement of pledge and submit it to DoT.
  4. Receive the NOC from DoT.

Required documents

  1. A letter from the Department of Economic Development (DED): Original.
  2. Initial approval from the Department of Economic Development (DED): Copy.
  3. Commercial name: Copy.
  4. Owner's passport: Copy.
  5. Lease contract: Copy, if any.
  6. Signature authorization: Copy.
  7. Authenticated power of attorney (In case the applicant is acting on behalf of the principal): Copy.
  8. Statement of pledge (Should be requested from DoT and signed from the owner): Original.
