Dual two lane road ensures safer, smoother and more convenient transport experience for motorists
As part of its commitment to providing world-class sustainable and integrated transport infrastructure in line with its Surface Transport Master Plan (STMP), the Department of Transport (DoT) in Abu Dhabi announced today that it will soon commence construction of Madinat Zayed-Ghayathi main road dualling project, widening the existing 80 kilometre two-way road into a dual two lane road with two shoulders on both sides, with a cost of AED 267.5 million.

In response to growing needs of bus services amongst commuters, the Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi (DoT) announced today that ten operating bus routes in Abu Dhabi and five in Al Ain experienced some expansions and changes in their routes.
According to the DoT, these bus services that have witnessed some changes are:
